We here at Sill-TerHar Mazda want you and your pets to be safe while going on a road trip. Whether you're just headed around the block or to another state, there are some safety tips you can utilize to keep everyone content and protected.

It's a good idea to start with shorter trips until your pet is used to the drive. You can work your way up from there.

Your pet should be kept safely in the back of the vehicle in a crate or in the backseat. It's not a good idea to have them on your lap while you drive.

Leashing your pet can be a strangulation danger. Use a crate or have them learn how to sit nicely in their designated spot.
