Earlier today, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced that it has been named "2015 Automotive Brand of the Year" by leading advertising analytics company, Ace Metrix. Motivated by the belief that excellence in creative advertising drives brand performance, Ace Metrix aims to provide companies with insight into how and why certain advertising approaches are successful.

More than 3.25 million consumer's responses were analyzed, along with nearly 2 million voluntarily submitted verbatim comments. Responses were evaluated in regards to Persuasion, Likeability, Information, Relevance, and Watchability. MNAO's ads "Driver's Life" and "Bringing Baby Home" helped the company achieve an overall positive feedback score 5.0 percent above the category norm.

Russell Wager, vice president of marketing for MNAO, commented on the coveted recognition. "Communicating with our customers and understanding their wants and needs is the very foundation of our business, the better we can be at that, the better job we can do building a relationship with them," he said. "We are honored to receive this recognition from Ace Metrix and feel that it validates our efforts in trying to engage with our customers in a way that they appreciate."
