Here at Sill-TerHar Mazda in Broomfield, CO, we are always impressed with the ambitious plans our manufacturer lays out for their business future. So today, we thought we might take a moment to fill in our valued customers on what they can expect from the automaker in the next few coming years.
Currently, the brand is right in the middle of adapting production lines so that they can include their super-efficient SKYACTIV Technology in ALL of their new model vehicles by the year 2015. And as exciting as this change is and will be, it's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what kind of improvements Mazda has in store.
Some other changes the brand has in store include more frequent updates of all of their models, which will be accomplished by editing the interior and exterior styling, powertrain technologies, and other factors in more subtle ways so the updates can be applied more frequently.
An example of this is the fact the both the CX-5 and Mazda6 will receive updated interiors and front fascias, less than two years after each model made its first appearance on the market. There are also plans in the works for a reappearance of a Miata model in the lineup! Other planned redesigns include a new platform and powertrain for the Mazda2 in the 2015 model year.
