Here at Sill-TerHar Mazda in Broomfield, CO, we see firsthand just how many Mazda3 fans we have in the area, and we see from Mazda national sales figures just how popular the model is throughout the rest of the country. And today, we are very excited to announce even more news is coming out about the flagship sedan model.
Because they are so excited about the new model, Mazda planned a splashy debut for the new 2014 Mazda3 at the annual Frankfurt Motor Show. Entitled 'Mazda Route3- Hiroshima to Frankfurt Challenger Tour 2013, Mazda sent some new hatchback Mazda3 models on a 9,300 mile trip from the manufacturer's Japanese production plant, all the way across continental Europe to the autoshow, held annually on September 10th.
And happily, all the new models made it to the brand's European Research and Development Centre in Frankfurt, just in the nick of time. The brand new Mazda3 models crossed five countries on two continents, nine total time zones, and drivers saw the landscapes of 30 cities.
Jeremy Thompson, Managing Director for Mazda UK who was present on portions of the journey had this to say about the experience, "What an adventure! If I had to single out the one aspect of the Tour that was most impressive, I'd say the interaction - of the people along the way, with the Mazda Route3 participants, with the support team, and of course with the cars.1
If you're in the market for a quick and sporty, yet reliable, sedan model, look no further than the Mazda3 here at Sill Terhar Mazda in Broomfield, CO.
