Those with a deep appreciation for Mazda brand, including many of us here at Sill-TerHar Mazda, have had one thing weighing on the back of our minds lately. That of course is none other than the desire to learn more about the highly anticipated redesign of the 2014 Mazda3. Many have spent hours combing the web for spy photos and information. Today we are happy to report what we recently learned regarding the new model.

Starting with the exterior, the 2014 Mazda3 heavily resembles its older counterpart, the redesigned 2014 Mazda6. This is particularly apparent on the front grille and curved lines on the front quarter panel.

Powering the all-new Mazda3 are two engine options: the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter or a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter. The former engine offered 155 horsepower, while the newest options bump things up to 184. There is the possibility of a diesel variant being offering in the European market, but there's currently no word on the possibility of this engine coming Stateside.

The cabin of the Mazda3 received a new infotainment system capable of reading text messages, emails and social media feeds while the vehicle is in motion through its text-to-voice technology. That gives drivers the ability to stay connected to the world around them in a way that's safe and responsible.

We are still waiting to hear when we can expect the 2014 Mazda3 to arrive at our Broomfield, CO dealership. When we find out we will be sure to let you know here on our Mazda blog.
